Tatiana Khrom
MD, FAAD
Dr. Tatiana Khrom is a highly qualified and respected fellowship-trained and double board-certified dermatologist. She provides a full range of cosmetic and surgical dermatological services and has the notable achievement of being double board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs surgery). Her advanced training and dual certifications are evidence of her exceptional expertise in both medical dermatology and the highly specialized field of Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Khrom’s birthplace is Ukraine, and she came to the United States in 1988 with her family. Her commitment and natural skills were evident early on, as she earned a dual major in biochemistry and philosophy from New York University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Next, she attended SUNY Downstate School of Medicine, where she was at the top of her graduating class and was invited to the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.
Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Khrom completed a year-long internal medicine internship with Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Next, she went on to SUNY Downstate Medical Center where she served her dermatology residency. She was invited to the United States Procedural Dermatology’s prestigious Graduate Medical Education fellowship program, during which she trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic surgery, facial reconstruction, and advanced laser surgery techniques. She was selected to be among the first participants in the groundbreaking program, due to her outstanding achievements.
Dr. Khrom is honored to be recognized as a GAIN trainer by Galderma, the developers of Restylane, Sculptra, Dysport, and other injectables. In her role, she shares her expertise with other clinicians to help them use these products safely and effectively for optimal results. Furthermore, she has been honored as an Elite Practitioner by Merz Aesthetics, recognizing her outstanding skill and commitment in the field. She is also recognized as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Promoitalia, an esteemed Italian company at the forefront of aesthetic medicine. Dr. Khrom recently completed the master’s course on Advanced Regenerative Fat Grafting Techniques at UMA Academy in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in the field study of regenerative aesthetics.
Currently, Dr. Khrom sees patients at her private practice. She has a sterling reputation in New York and beyond, known for her exceptional skill and in-depth knowledge. Additionally, she is a national presenter, as well as the author of multiple medical textbook chapters and research articles.

Elena Chyzh
NP
Elena is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Aesthetic Medicine. Having been with Dr. Khrom since 2010, she was instrumental in the inception of Khrom Aesthetics, when it was just a small branch of Khrom Dermatology. Elena earned her master’s in nursing in May 2019. While she explored family and internal medicine in her pursuit of education, it was aesthetics that always had her heart!
Elena’s extensive experience in Cosmetic Dermatology, coupled with her passion aesthetic and anti-aging enhancements, allows her to achieve excellent results for her patients. Elena focuses on overall health and wellness, as well as feeling confident about the skin you’re in. She will assess your needs during a comprehensive consultation to determine what course of treatment will help you achieve your goals.
She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Dermatology Nurse Association (DNA) and the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN), giving her access to all the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine.
Elena speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Greek, which allows her to provide the same high level of care for a wide range of patients regardful of their cultural background and need.
Shaira Khan
Medical Aesthetician
Shaira is New York State Licensed Esthetician, laser technician and phlebotomist.
She has years of experience in aesthetics & laser treatments. Shaira is an expert on all skin tones, she uses advance aesthetic techniques to help clients achieve the desired results.
Shaira is always eager to learn about the latest technologies and trends in aesthetic industry as she constantly strives to grow as a skincare therapist and a medical aesthetician. She always makes sure to educate her patients on the treatment performed, on the skincare regiment to support long-lasting results and you’d definitely want to come back and see her again!

Kseniya Markova
Medical Aesthetician
Kseniya is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Laser Technician, and skin specialist with over 20 years of experience in medical aesthetics. She is known for her personalized approach and dedication to helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin.
Her expertise includes laser and energy treatments, custom facials, and skin health optimization, with treatments tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Kseniya believes that taking care of your skin is an investment that pays off every time you look in the mirror.

Ksenia Salamone-McDevitt
Practice Manager
Ksenia is the smiley face of the office. Her top priority is to ensure an exceptional patient experience for all! She is very responsible, cheerful, multitalented and a result-oriented person.
Ksenia says, that the best part of her job is getting to interact with different people, which never gets boring since no two days are the same at KHROM MEDSPA & WELLNESS.

Vanessa Betancourt
Patient Coordinator
We are fortunate to benefit from the efficiency and knowledge of Vanessa as a patient coordinator.
She assists clients with all types of needs, from arranging appointments to helping you find great deals. She also assists patients in finding the best treatment and provider for their specific needs or preferences.
She is known for her kindness, excellent fashion sense, and organizational skills.
Vanessa is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English.
Erika Perez Diaz
Patient Coordinator
Erika loves to aid clients by helping them select the best treatments for them, she will accommodate clients’ booking needs and delivers exceptional customer service.
She is happy to answer patients’ questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns, and make each visit positive.
It is important to her that each patient enjoys a feeling of ease and confidence in our office.
She loves to swim. She is friendly, honest, and creative.

Outside of work, Alexa is deeply committed to giving back to her community, volunteering with children and the elderly through New York Cares. Her compassionate nature and organizational skills make her an invaluable part of our KHROM Team.

Kamila Safarova
Medical Assistant
Kamila is a warm, kind, and inviting person who always puts the patient’s comfort first and channels positive energy into her environment.
Kamila finished her Undergraduate degree in Biology at Hofstra University with the prospects of becoming a Physician Assistant and has received High Honors in her department for research done in head and neck cancer.
In her free time, she loves to work out and bake, as well as cuddle with her 2 rescue cats, Sprinkles and Solo.
